Cape Cod and WR have become one of my favorite places to go and work at. This place can be called one of the most beautiful wedding venues. I am used to working at Wychmere Harbor, Pelham House Resort, and Especially at Wequassett. It’s worth saying that Wequassett is distinguished as the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel on Cape Cod. Besides, Wequassett is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts and its Legend collection of globally recognized and award-winning hotels (2020).
Wequassett Resort has a unique location with its perfect lawn and seasonal gardens on the edge of Pleasant Bay. The English-style gardens and magnificent views of the bay and the Atlantic beyond make for a breathtaking backdrop. This VenuVenueers 120 spacious, charming guest rooms and suites in different styles with water and garden views. You will enjoy the scenic surroundings of the Resort, watching sailboats and yachts sailing by.
In summer, Wequasstett drowned in flowering hydrangeas – I would say that’s what makes them so distinctive. Even if you’re not planning a wedding here, an outdoor break and a refreshing drink is always great excuse to stop by.
At Wequassett Resort, you can host indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Five acclaimed restaurants and two private beaches provide sumptuous food, comfort, and world-class service. The staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. The reception facilities of the Resort are gorgeous: Grand Pavilion Room, The Garden Terrace, The Outer Bar, and Grille. Each of them is unique. For example, The Garden Terrace is a tented structure with floor-to-ceiling accordion-style glass doors open to Pleasant Bay. And the smaller ballrooms are full of light and so beautiful.
The Venue is perfect for any weather all year long. You can also enjoy your ceremony on the beach if the weather is gorgeous. One of the advantages of the VenuVenuehosting the event during a storm or heavy rain. I photographed the wedding in October, and it was raining like cats and dogs. Moreover, the wind was almost like a hurricane. And it’s not a big deal, can you imagine?
