Hello, and welcome to Cape Cod wedding photographer’s blog. Here are the top questions to the local Cape Cod and Nantucket wedding photographer – Alex Gordias.
1. Wedding style.
Coastal inspiration and everything that fits #capcodestyle is the most popular thing not only for newlyweds but also for your Cape Cod wedding photographer. You can always play with the palette and bring your personality to the wedding—accessories, like modern or time-connected things. Even your pet might be important, for example, for getting ready photos or for a part of the romantic pictures.
Check the shoes/hills or any kind you prefer out before wearing it for hours. Comfort is important. Please think about a back-up plan and buy a skin patch.
Order your super personalized invitations, gifts, or anything you want. For example, Ellen Paul Art might help. I would highly recommend her.
2. The best month to get married on Cape Cod.
Based on my experience, the best months are May, August, September, and October. Some couples are thinking that October is not a high season, and it’s easy to find the vendors. Unfortunately, I can’t agree with that. Till the beginning of November, Cape is full of events. The weather is more comfortable. Hotels are less busy. Fall in New England is lovely and charming, even if you are taking the photos on the beach. If you love Fall Foliage, please think about the Venue to find it a little further from a beach.
One year or year and a half is the best time to book the vendors/venue, especially the popular ones.
3. Think about a wedding planner.
As a Cape Cod local photographer, always happy to send a few wedding planner’s names.
I do know a few great planners to help you with your event, on Cape Cod, Nantucket or Boston area. The wedding planner is entirely different from the Venue/catering managers. They could help with all the vendors, optimize the budget, and of course, work side-by-side during all the day.
4. Cape Cod and Nantucket wedding photographer – Alex Gordias.
My experience is right for you. We’ll find the best place for your engagement session on Cape Cod, Nantucket, Boston, or Rhode Island. I’ll help you with the timeline and all I can do
5. The turnaround time of Cape Cod wedding photographer.
What’s the turnaround time for the wedding photos and what is included in the final cost
The turnaround period is from 3-5 weeks after your wedding day. To me, it is important to edit each photo with no limits for the final quantity. Deliver the maximum is my goal. If the light is harsh, I will take care of the beauty of the skin on close up portraits with no plastic effect. Please check my wedding portfolio out.
6. Family formals and portraits.
The wedding is part of your legacy. One of my priorities is making sure we have the list of family formals and to take all the portraits with siblings and everyone whos in the list. Sometimes even personal pictures.
I had my list at the wedding and so happy we have portraits with all the family.
Posing is a part of success. Capturing exciting and fun moments and creating the story is equal. After winning a few photographic contests, I’ve become Top 5 wedding photographers by WPJA. WPJA is a world photojournalistic organization. This year I’ve decided to move forward and find more weddings on Nantucket, Marthas Vineyard, and Rhode Island.
