The festivities commenced with Shelby and James preparing in their respective suites at the Intercontinental. In Shelby’s suite, a sense of formal elegance prevailed as her attendants helped her into her gown. James, in contrast, spent a more leisurely morning with his groomsmen, enjoying a relaxed and festive atmosphere before the ceremony began.
The Ceremony: Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage
The nuptials took place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage in the Seaport, a location that brought a solemn yet joyful tone to the occasion.
