The wedding season is about to start, and right now the spring in Massachusetts is going faster and faster. Cape Cod is one of my favorite places during all the year. I was excited when Jeff and Moira booked me as their wedding photographer; we spent a perfect time on a sunny day at Belfry Inn in Sandwich, those 4 hours were full of smiles, kisses and sweet moments. An intimate ceremony and wedding reception were cozy and fun. I would recommend the Venue for my couples. The sneak peek is done; the online gallery is waiting for the bride and groom. I will share the photos in a few days later.
Hello, my dear reader. You are reading my wedding photography blog. Here you can find professional photographer articles, portrait photography sessions and a lot of beautiful photos from Boston, Cape Cod, Newport RL, Massachusetts. This is the engagement session in Newton for Leah and Sasha. I love to work in Great Boston and Cape Cod.
When the wedding season 2018 has come to an end we’ve decided to schedule a day for the engagement session in Newton. It was a quite warm sunny day, and we decided to take the session in the park for the first part and in Newton downtown for the second one. When I met them I was so excited, Leah did a fantastic style.
As an Engagement and wedding photographer, I want to say - I love you, guys and can’t wait for your wedding on Cape Cod in Falmouth 2019. I can’t wait to start the session with your cats (I am a cat lover) and fantastic style. After the session, Sasha & Leah were amazed by their photos and online gallery. There a lot of beautiful views and portraits photos with romantic mood and emotional moments.
I am so honored to be your wedding and engagement photographer and want to say thank you, guys! You are spectacular, and I can’t wait for your wedding day.
Enjoy their story and photos.
Here is their story:
How we met
We met on the dance floor in Newton, MA in 2003 when we were 15 years old and competitive Latin ballroom dancers. Sasha was the better dancer! By 2006, both of us had left the Newton area. Sasha headed to UMass Amherst to study neuroscience, where he kept dancing for some time. Lyusha headed to Washington, DC, where she promptly quit dancing and pursued the bends and twirls of Arabic instead. Throughout the next seven years, Sasha got his degree, worked in research and biotech, and became a behavioral therapist. Lyusha moved to Egypt and then Cyprus, translated poetry, and quietly acquired four vicious dumpster cats. In 2013, when Lyusha started business school, Sasha spontaneously answered a roommate ad and moved in with Lyusha’s childhood friend. When Lyusha came to visit from the forests of New Hampshire, she was surprised to find Sasha among her closest group of friends. She noted he’d done an excellent job growing up. When Lyusha finally moved back to Boston in 2017, there was Sasha. What ensued for the next couple of months was a jittery, high school-style crush wherein Lyusha grew uncharacteristically shy. She told her chattiest friends that she had a crush on Sasha in hopes that they would tip him off, but they sadly kept her confidence. It took about two months, but Sasha finally got the hint!
