Hello and welcome. My name is Alex Gordias. I am a Cape-Cod-based photographer, yet have had the opportunity to take photos all over New England and beyond. As your photographer, my goal is to capture memories that will last a lifetime. I have traveled to Nantucket, an island on the coast of Massachusetts, many times and have gotten to know the area well. I wish to use all that the island offers to take the best photos imaginable on your special day. So as you can see, this post is dedicated to Nantucket Wedding Photographer.
I have studios in both Cape Cod, MA, as well as Boston, MA. From my early days to today, I have gained a lot of experience and won international awards for my photography. From 2019 I’ve become Top-5 wedding photojournalists in Massachusetts by WPJA. In 2021 I was named TOP-50 World International wedding photographers.
My experience does not merely end with the United States; I had the opportunity to do work worldwide. It is so important to me that the photos I take you can cherish forever, which is why I pour everything into giving you the pictures you deserve. However, it is also crucial that you feel comfortable no matter how shy you may be to the camera and enjoy every step of the process.
I have won over 25 international and national wedding photography awards, which I am so honored to have received. Currently, I am a member of several wedding photography associations, including WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) and FEARLESS photographers.

The Sankaty Head Golf Club is a private golf club located on the east part of the island. It holds a tennis facility and a gorgeous beach view perfect for any pictures. It is one of the most popular and prestigious golf clubs, making it perfect for any venue.
Additionally, on the property stands the infamous Sankaty Lighthouse (Sankaty Head Light). With its iconic look taking photos for a wedding or an engagement is perfect.
The White Elephant is a luxurious resort standing on the island for decades. The hotel looks down on a port filled with sailboats, which adds to a beautiful and unique background. The resort also holds several pools, so if you wish to take poolside photos, you most definitely have that option here.
The Brandpoint Lighthouse is within walking distance of the resort and offers the ability to take beachside photos with a lighthouse background. It is a known landmark on the island and can fit in beautifully with any beach-style picture.
The Whales Watch Estate is a luxury beachfront estate located in the southeast section of Nantucket. Roughly half of the acreage of the estate is the beach, and it holds all necessary beach supplies. From paddleboards to lobster pots, taking photos here will not be your average wedding shoot.
Located right near the bay, the Nantucket Hotel and Resort is known and named the #1 Luxury Hotel in the Country by Trip Advisor. Fully equipped with many pools and ocean views, you can not go wrong with choosing this destination.

The Summer House overlooks the Atlantic Ocean in Siasconset. In itself, it holds many boutique hotels in the Nantucket historic area. Additionally, you can find many of the best Nantucket restaurants, such as the Beachside Bistro. With its beautiful landscaping, there are so many directions to go in for your shoot that your dreams can become a reality.

An Iconic place on the island. It is located downtown, which is most definitely a great place, especially for romantic or Rehearsal dinner. The restaurant also might be a great place for micro-wedding celebrations.
Lastly, as a Nantucket wedding photographer, I would like to mention some beautiful spots on the Island.
The Club House
The Club House is one of my favorite destinations on the island. However, it is important to note that it is not a venue. It contains cobblestone roads and beautiful iconic houses. It is located in the center of town, so anything you may need is within reach walking distance.
Great Point Lighthouse
The Great Point Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse at the northernmost point of the island at the tip. Lighthouses work beautifully for any wedding or engagement photoshoot. The ocean, rich green grass with a white lighthouse add for a clean summer look.
Cisco Beach
The Cisco Beach is a rustic sand beach with a gorgeous ocean view. Many bike paths are available where trail shoots can be arranged. It is usually low-key and is not overcrowded, so we will have the beachside to create any photos you may desire.
