Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Alex, and I am the lead photographer at Alex Gordias Photography and a Boston Wedding Photographer. Today, I would like to share Jessie and Patrick’s Plum Island Newburyport engagement photos.
We started at around 5 PM in Newburyport and spent about 40 minutes exploring the area. We walked along Merrimac Street and captured portraits of Patrick and Jessie near the scenic waterfront. To avoid the evening rush hour traffic, we then took a short drive over to Plum Island for the second half of the session.
Performing an engagement session at Plum Island was a first for me. I had never visited this specific beach before, so I did some research to find a spot on the North Shore that felt private yet accessible. Newburyport remains one of my favorite cities in Massachusetts, and though I’ve been there many times, Plum Island offered a fresh perspective.
We spent the final 30 minutes at the beach, enjoying the open waterfront, low tide reflections, and the beautiful sunset light. We even brought their dog, Phillip, along to make the session even more special—he was hilarious! These Plum Island engagement photos turned out to be both fun and romantic. I hope you enjoy them!
