Hello and welcome to the Boston Wedding Photographers Blog. Cape Cod always holds a special place in my heart. As the founder and lead photographer at Alex Gordias Photography, I was honored to photograph the wedding of Jennifer and Matthew. It’s time to share their Pelham House Resort wedding photos.
The venue reopened its doors after a major renovation a couple of years ago and quickly became one of the most popular resorts on Cape Cod. The venue is perfect for weddings or any large-scale event, featuring a beautiful Cape-style house and a massive outdoor lawn with a stunning oceanfront view. Jennifer and Matthew got married at Pelham House Resort this past October, right as the season was winding down. We had been planning this day since the pandemic, and the excitement from everyone involved was palpable.
Just like most Cape Cod weddings, the day began with the bridal party preparation. I always enjoy seeing the unique styles brides and grooms choose for their hair and makeup. My second photographer and I captured the getting-ready process separately; while the guys were in their hotel room, the bridal party utilized the spacious suite on the second floor.
