Hey, thanks for reading my blog and visiting my page! My name is Alex Gordias, and I am a Cape Cod wedding photographer. Today’s post features Lisa and Mark’s stunning engagement session at Half Moon Beach in Gloucester, MA. Working year-round across New England, I have the opportunity to capture love stories in many incredible locations, but Gloucester holds a special place for its rugged coastal beauty.
Lisa and Mark are tying the knot this May at one of the most incredible and legendary venues in the region—Crane Estate. My team and I can’t wait to be a part of their big celebration at the end of the month.
This story began when the Wedding Planner, Primavera Dreams, reached out to connect us. After discussing their vision, we decided to do two distinct engagement shoots on the same day. We started with a complimentary session in Boston’s Seaport District and followed it with an hour-long sunset session at Half Moon Beach in Gloucester.
Lisa and Mark did an amazing job preparing for the shoot, selecting perfect attire that made the final gallery look incredibly stylish. Despite the cold air and 44°F water temperature, they were adventurous enough to go into the water to help me create these unique photos. You certainly can’t tell how cold it was by looking at their smiles! Here is a sneak peek of the session.
