Hi! The summer is still in Massachusetts, as a local wedding and engagement photographer, I am thrilled to share a new Provincetown Dunes Engagement session. Since my first visit to Cape, I was dreaming about doing the photoshoot in dunes, waiting for the couple who’s interested in an extraordinary place to go.
We were planning the photoshoot since early spring and I am glad we did it in the middle of the summer – the weather was more comfortable for everyone, we spent about an hour + walking in the Sand Dunes and enjoying the views.
Did you know that coastal dunes make up roughly one-third of the Cape Cod National Seashore? This is one of the most beautiful places in Cape. The dunes began forming soon after the glacial retreat and deposited by longshore currents. Sand from the beaches of this elongating hook was then blown inland to form the dunes The Province Lands Trail goes through the forest and dunes with openings to public beaches. The Province Lands Visitor Center provides the opportunity to know more about the history and observe the dunes. You can easily find it on the map if you are planning to visit Cape Cod. I highly recommend traveling to Provincetown and visiting the Sand Dunes.
What’re your favorite places in Cape Cod for taking the photos? Let’s chat and discuss the scenario and the details. Your Cape Cod and engagement and wedding photographer – Alex Gordias
